About Dr. Ledbetter
Dr. Glory Ledbetter grew up on a small farm in the mountains of Hancock County, Tennessee, where her love of all things natural began. There she learned the meaning of the phrase, “You are what you eat”, believing that fostering a connection with our food and its production is an important part of health. She studied Theater and Biology at Carson-Newman University before attending the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine (active and accredited from 2001-2022), graduating with her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Masters of Science in Human Nutrition in 2017. She then completed her residency in primary care with Mountain View Natural Medicine in Burlington, VT. Dr. Ledbetter still maintains a license to practice medicine in the state of Vermont and complies with its regulations and continuing education requirements.
When not consulting with clients, Dr. Ledbetter can be found kayaking in the lakes and rivers of east Tennessee or hiking with her two beloved retired racing greyhounds.
One of Dr. Ledbetter’s favorite naturopathic philosophies is “Doctor as teacher” and she is passionate regarding education around wellness as well as empowering people to take control of their health. Dr. Ledbetter’s love for naturopathic medicine has translated into working toward better recognition of naturopathic medicine at the federal level by attending American Association of Naturopathic Physician’s Washington, DC lobby day 5 years in a row as well as legislative work for the Tennessee Naturopathic Doctor’s Association and sits on its board as its current president. A true generalist with expertise in constitutional homeopathy, functional genetic counseling, nutrition, and herbal medicine, Dr. Ledbetter is well equipped to be your partner in navigating the confusing world of healthcare as well as support you as you work toward your health goals.
